Installation Guides Updated Oct 17, 2026 882 views

1. Wrong PHP version

Laravel 12 needs PHP 8.2+. Change it in cPanel › Select PHP Version.

2. Folder permissions

Set storage and bootstrap/cache to 775 (folders) so the web server can write logs and cache.

3. Missing PHP extensions

Enable fileinfo, gd, zip and pdo_mysql.

4. Corrupted .env

Open .env in File Manager and make sure values with spaces are wrapped in double quotes.

5. Check the log

The exact error is written to storage/logs/laravel-YYYY-MM-DD.log. Send the last lines to support if you need help.
