1. Create a PayHere account
Sign up at payhere.lk and complete business verification. Use sandbox.payhere.lk for testing.
2. Add your domain
In PayHere › Settings › Domains & Credentials, add your website domain. PayHere generates a Merchant Secret for that domain.
3. Enter the details in the admin panel
Go to Admin › Settings › Payments › PayHere, enable it, and enter your Merchant ID and Merchant Secret. Choose whether to charge in LKR (with your exchange rate) or USD.
4. Test
Use the sandbox test card 4916 2175 0161 1292 with any future expiry and CVV.
The notify URL (/payment/payhere/notify) is sent automatically — orders are marked paid the moment PayHere confirms.
