Fixing 404 errors with redirects

Keep your rankings when URLs change.

SEO & Marketing Updated Oct 17, 2026 604 views

When you rename a product or delete a page, old links in Google return a 404 error. The 404 Monitor (Admin › SEO) logs every broken URL with its hit count.

Click Redirect next to a broken URL, enter the new destination and choose 301 Permanent. Visitors and Google are forwarded instantly and your ranking signals are preserved.
