Connect cPanel / WHM in 5 minutes — accounts created automatically

Link your WHM server with an API token so every paid order becomes a live cPanel account.

Hosting Automation Updated Oct 17, 2026 0 views

Once your WHM server is connected, the website creates the cPanel account the moment a customer pays, emails the login details and shows them under My Services. Suspend, unsuspend, upgrade and password resets all run from the admin panel or the Anow Admin app.

What you need

  • A WHM server (root) or a WHM reseller account
  • At least one package in WHM (Packages › Add a Package)
  • Port 2087 reachable from your website

Step 1 — Create an API token in WHM

  1. Log in to WHM and open Development › Manage API Tokens.
  2. Click Generate Token and name it anow-billing.
  3. Allow at least: list-pkgs, create-acct, suspend-acct, kill-acct, upgrade-acct, passwd, create-user-session (or choose All features).
  4. Copy the token — WHM shows it only once.

Step 2 — Add the server

  1. Admin panel › Hosting & Domains › Servers › Add cPanel / WHM.
  2. Hostname: server1.yourdomain.com (no https://), Port 2087, HTTPS on.
  3. WHM username: root or your reseller username. Paste the token as WHM API token.
  4. Add your nameservers (one per line) — they are emailed to every new customer.
  5. Save, then click Test connection. You should see Connected: WHM 11x.

Step 3 — Import packages

Click Import packages, tick the packages to sell and choose Web Hosting or Reseller Hosting. Each package becomes a plan with features (disk, bandwidth, email accounts) filled in. Set the prices in Hosting Plans and switch the plan to Visible.

What happens after a sale

  1. Customer orders a plan with a domain and pays (card, PayPal, PayHere or bank transfer).
  2. The cPanel account is created on WHM with a secure password.
  3. The customer receives a welcome email with username, password, nameservers and a one-click cPanel login.
  4. You get a notification in the admin panel and on your phone.
Tip: if the creation fails (for example the domain already exists on WHM), the service is marked Failed with the exact WHM error. Fix it and click Retry create.
